Yes. Your streak counter, daily check-in, milestones, and stats (days sober, money saved, calendar heatmap) are free, with no paywall. Cairn Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks AI reflection journaling — pattern observations, weekly summaries, and unlimited history.
iPhone: open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Cairn → Cancel Subscription.
Android: open the Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cairn → Cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep Pro access until then.
Open Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account that originally bought Pro.
Check your internet connection and try again. Reflections need a connection because they are generated securely on our server. If the issue persists, email us a short description of what happened.
No. Your streak counts the calendar days since your sober start date — missing a check-in never resets it. Only recording an explicit relapse resets the streak.
No. Cairn is a support tool, not medical care. The reflection feature offers gentle, non-clinical observations only — it is not therapy, coaching, or a substitute for professional help.
Yes. Your check-ins, stats, and journal entries are stored locally on your device, and Cairn requires no name, email, or phone number. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
